This place is a gem :)The outside does not look very spectacular but believe me, the food is fantastic. And the price is amazing for the portions you get.Excuse the photos of half eaten food. It smelt so good!Me and a friend went for some pre recommends food and I could not believe the portion size being served.Beef with black bean sauce, sweet chicken, special fried rice... All amazing with great flavor.But my fav is definitely the fried squid. Perfect texture and like bits of chilly.This place is well worth visiting. Nice staff and clean restaurant.And without sounding stereotypical, it's cash only ;)
The portions are huge, so if you have a big family or want value for money I would definitely recommend it. I would recommend the sweet and sour, egg Foo Yung and Mixed Chips with spring rolls and chicken nibbles. Overall I was pleasantly surprised in terms of how cheap it was and the food quality. I would definitely go back 5/5
FIRST TIME IVE HAD FOOD THERE IN YEARS AND I WONT BE GOING BACK. AwfulFirst of all the food was barely luke warm, we had a 2 min drive home with it in a plastic carrier bag. My Lemon Chicken looked like it had been cooked yesterday and kept warm for a long time. It was shrivelled up, dry and rubbery. The sauce was awful, not nice and lemony as it usually is from various other take always, bitter, tangy without flavour. The noodles were all chopped up for some reason and dry. There was so much salt that even from the little bit I ate Im now drinking glass after glass of water! The other food wasnt nice either. Sadly about 70% went in the bin. My daughter commented that it tasted like a quick meal/microwave meal from a supermarket! We normally clear the lot, we cant afford to throw expensive takeaway food away. I was told that they buy the food ready made in tubs and just quickly stir fry it when ordered. Didnt believe this at first but now have second thoughts.
One of the best Chinese takeaways weve ever had. The sauces taste so fresh and home made, not packed full of sugar. The dim sum platter is a highlight and the chilli sticky beef.
Always fresh and delicious food. Prompt service. What you see is what you get and the food has always been excellent value, large portions....I call and order first and it's always ready when they say....I've been eating here for seven years and it's still going strong.
