The service was incredibly prompt, as soon as we walked in the door. Amazing USP of unlimited toast for 3.50 with an array of toppings - each table had their own toaster, it's very fun. We had the Eggs Royale & the Smashed Avo (with a generous portion of salmon for an extra 3) and both were very nice. They serve dairy alternatives for coffee and have a lovely bakery. All in all very nice but sometimes very slightly dear for what it is. Dog friendly too
Why there are toasters wired in on the tables god knows it's a shame they are covered with crumbs! Are tables not wiped down when cleared or toasters? Crumbs should be wiped off toasters when wipping down tables. I'm not surprised it has low food hygiene rating. I visited 1 year ago when it was a 3 star hygene rating. Service comes without a smile and they got the order wrong. Almost 17 for 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches it's daylight robbery.

My girlfriend and I spent a week in London, eating out most mornings at various places in and around the city. The Toast Rack is the only place we went to multiple times due to their wonderful service and fantastic food. The staff is very responsive, requiring us to wait no more than 30 seconds before taking our drink order. The food is delicious, again requiring a very short wait. I should note, all the comments of poor serving sizes are completely baseless. Simply put, we are Americans accustomed to very large servings and we never left hungry. Lastly, the decor and environment is very welcoming. We give the Toast Rack our strongest and unconditional recommendation. You will not be disappointed!
Having just moved into the area we were welcomed in with a smile and immediately felt at home. Our 2 year old had somewhere to play, our 10 year old had something to toast and my wife and I had good coffee and a delicious brunch. We look forward to returning many times!
